WAYNE JOHNSON CLAIMS $8,000 VICTORY IN 4TH ANNUAL CANADIAN SPRINT CAR NATIONALS

Wayne Johnson had never turned a lap at Ohsweken
Speedway before Friday night, but that inexperience
didn't slow down the Oklahoma native one bit on Saturday
night. Driving a Styres Racing sprinter, Johnson passed
race-long leader Dustin Daggett for the lead with 6 laps
to go in the 30 lap Feature and held on through a late
race caution period to claim the $8,000 victory. (View

Another bright, sunny day greeted the fans and teams for Night #2 of the Southern Ontario Sprints 2008 Labour Day Classic at Brighton Speedway on Sunday. A great evening of racing was expected as the SOS championship battle was set to be
decided, with Glenn Styres, Warren Mahoney, and Keith Dempster all in the hunt, and 1 of those drivers would come away with a piece of history as the 1st 3-time champ in club history.

Ryan
Hunsinger captured his second win of the weekend and
second career SOS victory on Sunday August 31st at
Brighton Speedway. Teammate Glenn Styres captured the
2008 series title.

| A large crowd filled the stands at Brighton Speedway on Saturday night to witness the 6th annual Southern Ontario Sprints Labour Day Classic, with the knowledge that they would see the SOS championship decided at Brighton on Labour Day weekend for the first time ever.
