Styres Opens SOS Season With A Win At Brighton

By Greg Calnan – A solid field of 23 cars arrived at Brighton Speedway for the first race of the 2013 Southern Ontario Sprints season and provided an action packed night. At the end of the 20 lap feature the near capacity crowd was left with a memorable finish as teammates Glenn Styres, Jamie Collard and Keith Dempster swept the podium. (more)

SOUTHERN ONTARIO SPRINTS RELEASE 2013 SCHEDULE

The schedule for the eighteenth season of competition is now set for the Southern Ontario Sprints (SOS). This year will see the SOS visit 5 different tracks in 2013, returning to one for the first time in a while and competing at one for the first time ever. As well, the SOS continues the tradition as an affiliate sanctioning body for the 9th annual Canadian Sprint Car Nationals. (more)

2012 Southern Ontario Sprints Awards Banquet

London, Ontario (December, 2012) – The seventeenth season of Southern Ontario Sprints competition came to a conclusion on Saturday, November 24th as the club honoured 2012 champion Lee Ladouceur at the annual SOS awards banquet held, once again this season, at the Best Western Cairn Croft Hotel in Niagara Falls. LADOUCEUR CROWNED CHAMP; WILSON WINS ON NIGHT TWO

DAIN NAIDA WINS ON NIGHT ONE OF LABOUR DAY CLASSIC

The racers also flocked to the one third mile speedway looking for an exciting double header weekend with 22 cars entering for Saturday nights Sanderson Tire & Automotive Sprint Car feature.
